Today I’m going to show how to reset 2018 Maserati Ghibli oil maintenance light with Autel MaxiCOM MK900-BT diagnostic tool. You can also use other tools like Autel MP900E, MP900Z-BT to do this job.
Turn the ignition on without pressing the brake pedal.
Connect Autel MK900-BT to car OBD.
After identifying car model,
Hot functions >> Oil reset >> IPC write service
Important
When working on this function, make sure that the time on the vehicle is the same as the local time, otherwise the function will not work properly!
Turn key to RUN.
Press “OK”.
Will be written a service with the data below.
Do you confirm? OK
It’s been reset with latest date and mileage set up in the system.
Press “OK”.
Wait 15s…
Operation ended successfully.
Turn the ignition off then on.
Open and close the door once.
Let’s start the car for a check.
No stored messages, it means the reset was successful.
Pretty easy done.
